This glossary brings together, in plain language, the financial terms you'll come across most as a content creator: what tokens are, how payout distribution works, what KYC is, and what happens when someone files a chargeback against you.
The way platforms record what you earn from your content, before converting it into real money. Each platform sets its own value and conversion method.
A digital account where you receive your tokens already converted, withdraw them to your bank account, or use them with a linked card. The Pandablue Wallet, for now, only receives payments coming from Stripchat.
The process of splitting a payment among several people, for example when a studio receives the combined payment for all its models and needs to distribute it to each one separately. We cover it in detail in payout distribution for webcam studios.
The process where you confirm you are who you say you are, usually with an ID document and a selfie or short video. It's a required step before you can get paid through almost any digital payment method, not just Pandablue. Before you start, read our KYC verification guide.
When a customer's payment is reversed after it's already been processed, usually because the person disputes it with their bank or card. It can affect your earnings if it isn't handled in time.
How often a platform releases what you earned: it can be weekly, biweekly, or on your own schedule, depending on the platform.
The exact date a platform "closes" what you earned in a period, before it starts counting the next one.
The percentage deducted from your earnings, either by the platform where you create content or by the payment processor you use to get paid. It varies by platform and can change over time.
The company (like Pandablue) that makes sure the money reaches you safely from the platform, without you having to handle it yourself.
The role Pandablue plays when it helps you convert your platform earnings into real payments you can use, without that necessarily meaning a wallet is offered in every country.
Perks you accumulate every time you use your Pandablue Wallet to pay or withdraw.
The card linked to your Pandablue Wallet, for paying online or in physical stores with your already-converted tokens.
The business that groups and manages several models, and that usually handles payout distribution among them.
Usually yes, once per platform or payment processor, unless you're asked to redo it for security reasons.
Not exactly. Each one may name similar processes differently, but the underlying concepts (tokens, payout cycle, fee) repeat across almost all of them.
